I love Yellow Brick Road day care. I wasn't that keen on it at the start, but now I have made new friends it is great. Daddy day care was better, we played pirates and WWF wrestling, but now he is busy finding a job so he can buy me lots of new toys.
henry has has this slide for 2 months and has never really attempted to get up on it he somtimes sits on the bottom of the slide but out of the blue tonight he climbed up the steps and down the slide very confidently. A slide break through !
Oma & Arbu took me to the water park - wow this was so much fun I got to play in the pool all morning and then we went on a tube ride around the canal then we had lunch in the cafe and i almost fell asleep in my chair so we had to go home - I cant wait to go back there.
When it gets too hot we go to the City Centre and hang out here is all kinds of things to do there adventure rides lots of toy shops and Oma loves the clothes shops !
This is the 'Burj' the worlds only 7star hotel where it has 97% occupancy all year round this place has it all - you can go there for afternoon tea for $250 which will get you a Latte and cake.
This is us on an adventure at the Madinet a very fancy market replicating 'old Dubai' with all kinds of authentic trinkets and souviners on offer. They make fantastic waffles and bannanas here and you can go down all of the steps and sit in big ben bags on the waterfront and watch people go past in boats.
I am enjoying brunch here with Oma and Arbu on Friday after going to the beach swimming I love going out to eat - I ordered a banana smoothie, scrambled eggs and some fresh fruit salad I was real hungers after my swimming.
This is the girls I work with Swati (India) Kauser (India) Rinzy (India) and Amal (Arab National) they are a really nice group of girls and have made me feel very welcome and part of the team. We all moved into a the new Engineering Centre building which is a state of the arc building with very impressive hangar facilities. We have a huge year ahead of us with 1 new plane arriving every month starting in November so we need to recruit alot of new staff. i am maybe going to be travelling to Manila, Malaysia and Canada over the next few months to source staff which will be exciting.
Oma (arabic for mother) fills up my bucket every night and I get to play on the front garden with my toys and go down my slide. When it cools down we are going to set my own garden area with grass under a massive gum tree so I can go outside and play all the time at the moment it is too hot 45 degrees most days so I can only go out in the evenings and mornings. This weekend it has started to cool down to early 40 degrees which is much better. I am a little more tanned up now and I dont look like such a little white honky boy when I go to the beach.
here I am with Arbu in the sea this is right next to the Burj Al Arab which is a very famous building in Dubai.. It is the worlds first 7 star hotel and it cost $250 for afternoon tea which is a latte and cake. The view is very pretty from the sea and there are bus loads of people flocking in to take pictures standing in front of it - sometimes they take heaps of pictures of me too... love henry xx
